After a car accident, many people assume they are fine because the pain does not appear right away. Hours or even days later, the soreness starts. Turning your neck becomes difficult. Sitting too long creates pressure in your lower back. Headaches become more frequent, and simple movements suddenly feel uncomfortable.
We see this often with patients throughout Kennesaw and nearby communities. Hidden injuries involving muscles, ligaments, nerves, and spinal joints may not show obvious symptoms immediately, but untreated damage can continue to worsen over time.
At Addison Sports Clinic, our goal is not just to temporarily reduce pain. We focus on helping your body heal correctly so you can return to work, exercise, driving, and daily life without constant discomfort holding you back.
Whether your accident happened near Barrett Parkway, Cobb Parkway, I-75, or while commuting through surrounding areas, our team understands how disruptive these injuries can be physically and emotionally.
A collision does not need to be severe to create lasting physical stress on the body. Even low-speed impacts can strain muscles, irritate nerves, and shift spinal alignment.
Many patients come to us experiencing symptoms such as:
One of the biggest mistakes people make after an accident is waiting too long before seeking treatment. Soft tissue injuries can continue progressing beneath the surface. Scar tissue may begin forming improperly, inflammation can increase, and compensation patterns may affect other parts of the body.
Without proper care, what started as mild soreness can eventually interfere with work performance, exercise routines, sleep quality, and everyday movement.
Auto accidents place sudden force on the body that can affect the spine, muscles, joints, and nervous system. Our injury-focused chiropractic care is designed to address the underlying trauma caused by collisions so your body can recover properly.
We help patients dealing with:
Our focus is restoring function while helping reduce pain, stiffness, and mobility limitations.
Whiplash is one of the most common injuries after an accident, yet many people underestimate how serious it can become. Sudden forward and backward motion places stress on the neck muscles, ligaments, and spinal joints.
Symptoms may include:
We use targeted chiropractic techniques, soft tissue therapies, and rehabilitation methods to help reduce inflammation and restore healthy movement patterns.
Patients often notice improvements in mobility, tension, and overall comfort as treatment progresses.
Injuries involving muscles and connective tissue can linger long after the accident if not treated correctly. Tightness, scar tissue formation, and inflammation may continue limiting movement and causing discomfort.
Our rehabilitation approach focuses on:
This helps patients regain strength and confidence while lowering the risk of chronic pain issues developing later.
Auto accidents can disrupt spinal alignment and joint mechanics. When the spine is not moving properly, patients may experience pain, stiffness, nerve irritation, and reduced mobility.
Chiropractic adjustments are designed to improve spinal function and reduce pressure throughout the body.
Benefits may include:
Our approach is precise, controlled, and tailored to each patient’s comfort level.
Addison Sports Clinic uses advanced recovery technology including Frequency Specific Microcurrent therapy.
FSM uses low-level electrical frequencies designed to help reduce inflammation and support tissue healing. Many patients dealing with lingering pain, nerve irritation, muscle tightness, or chronic inflammation respond very well to this treatment approach.
FSM is commonly incorporated into treatment plans to help:
This advanced technology helps us provide a more comprehensive recovery experience for injury patients throughout Kennesaw.
At Addison Sports Clinic, we take a patient-centered approach to healing. Instead of masking symptoms, we focus on identifying what is actually causing the pain and dysfunction.
Every treatment plan begins with a detailed consultation and physical evaluation. We assess mobility restrictions, muscular tension, spinal movement, inflammation patterns, and injury-related stress throughout the body.
From there, we create a customized recovery strategy designed specifically for your condition, activity level, and recovery goals.
Our treatment philosophy focuses on:
When injuries are addressed quickly and properly, recovery often becomes smoother and more predictable.
Patients commonly experience benefits such as:
Most importantly, early treatment may help reduce the likelihood of chronic pain conditions developing later.
At Addison Sports Clinic, we want patients to feel strong, mobile, and supported throughout every stage of recovery.
At Addison Sports Clinic, we believe quality care starts with listening.
Every patient experiences injury differently, which is why we avoid one-size-fits-all treatment approaches. We take time to evaluate your condition carefully and explain your treatment options clearly so you always understand your recovery plan.
Our clinic combines:
Patients trust us because we focus on helping them heal thoroughly, not just temporarily feel better.
Our commitment is helping people regain mobility, confidence, and quality of life through safe, evidence-informed chiropractic care.

Dr. Addison focuses on identifying the true source of dysfunction rather than simply chasing symptoms. His whole-body treatment philosophy is centered around helping patients recover naturally while improving long-term function and mobility.
Patients appreciate his thorough approach, clear communication style, and commitment to individualized care.
It is best to get evaluated as soon as possible after an accident, even if symptoms feel mild initially. Early care may help identify hidden injuries before they become more serious.
Recovery timelines vary depending on the severity of the injury, the patient’s health history, and how quickly treatment begins. Some patients improve within weeks while others require more extensive rehabilitation.
Most patients find treatment comfortable and relieving. Some soreness may occur initially as the body adapts to improved movement and healing.
Our office can discuss insurance coverage and payment options during your consultation. We work to make treatment as accessible as possible for injury patients.
We commonly help patients experiencing whiplash, neck pain, back pain, headaches, soft tissue injuries, joint dysfunction, nerve irritation, and accident-related mobility limitations.
Yes. Many patients seek care weeks or even months after an accident due to lingering symptoms. Treatment may still help improve mobility, reduce pain, and support healing.
EXCELLENT Based on 106 reviews Posted on Google Kevin BeaverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jason Addison is one of the few chiropractors I've encountered who truly understands instability, hypermobility, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). After working with many practitioners over the years, especially in recent years since my life went sideways, I don't say that lightly. For people searching for a chiropractor who truly understands instability, hypermobility, and EDS, Jason is one of the few practitioners I've met who genuinely gets it. What sets Jason apart is that his knowledge comes from deep real-world experience, not just textbooks. He has a growth mindset unlike anyone I've met, especially in healthcare. He's constantly learning, experimenting, and refining his approach rather than assuming he already has all the answers. Too many practitioners operate with a closed mindset where if something isn't in a textbook, it doesn't exist. That's the standard mindset in much of healthcare but that's not Jason! From the moment we met, we hit it off like long lost brothers. That kind of connection is super important when you're dealing with complex health issues and need someone who will actually listen, have compassion, and think critically about what's going on. I'm not an easy case...quite complex as a matter of fact. I was born with a tethered spinal cord that went undiagnosed for over five decades, which led to lifelong spinal instability along with Eagle syndrome and multiple surgeries and regenerative medicine injections to address it all. People dealing with instability, hypermobility, or EDS know how often their symptoms are dismissed, misunderstood, or treated in isolation. Jason approaches these conditions very differently. After decades of navigating complex health issues, multiple surgeries, and working with more practitioners than I can count, I know the difference between someone going through the motions and someone who genuinely solves problems. In my experience, Jason solves problems. Jason originally studied software engineering, and it shows in how he approaches problems. He's a systems thinker. His approach makes sense because he doesn't treat symptoms in isolation. He looks at how everything connects and works to restore proper function across the entire system. His frequency-specific microcurrent (FSM) protocols are excellent. I had been using FSM for a couple of years before I started seeing Jason, but his understanding of how to apply it for instability and hypermobility opened up an entirely new level of effectiveness for me. Jason also offers other treatment modalities such as laser therapy and shockwave therapy that can be very helpful for patients like myself. It's incredibly valuable to have these types of options available in one place rather than having to bounce between multiple practitioners trying to piece together care. Jason is also deeply engaged during his sessions. He isn't the type of practitioner who rushes through an adjustment and sends you on your way. He pays attention, thinks through what he's seeing, and adapts his approach based on how your body responds. It's obvious that he genuinely cares about helping people get better. He also understands that patients with instability or hypermobility require a thoughtful and measured approach. Everything he does is intentional and adapted to how your body responds. To say that Jason is "just a chiropractor" would be like saying Dr. Joe Dispenza is "just a chiropractor". If you are familiar with Dr. Dispenza's work, you know exactly what I mean. Jason's staff are also extremely kind and personable, which says a lot about the kind of practice he runs. It's clearly a reflection of both a well-run business and Jason himself. I'm incredibly grateful that God brought him into my life at the right time. Sometimes the right people show up exactly when you need them. I only wish I'd found him years earlier. If you're dealing with complicated musculoskeletal issues, especially anything involving instability, hypermobility, or EDS, do yourself a favor and see Jason. You won't regret it!.Posted on Google Daniel WinsteadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredible care team at Addison Chiropractic! Dr. Addison is FANTASTIC! I have EDS and he has been one of the only doctors to fully listen and has subsided my pain significantly.Posted on Google Nidya HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started FSM about a week and a half ago and all I can say is wow! My biggest concern was my pain, and I can definitely say it has improved drastically! On top of the pain, I’ve noticed so many of my other symptoms are dissipating! My sleep, pain, brain fog, constipation, throwing up, shakey hands, headaches, and anxiety have improved. I have more energy and feel overall more relaxed throughout the day! I’m so happy that I made the decision to try out FSM!Posted on Google Martha MayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I honestly wish I had found Dr Jason years ago. I have been dealing with health issues and horrible pain. It's been so bad that I became a hermit. Dr Jason was recommended to me and I have a hard time trying new doctors. I finally decided to call and broke an appointment. I was shocked in a good way at how understand Dr Jason is. He really took the time to see me and all the issues I am dealing with instead of just the one or two bad problems I have that need to be fixed. Just within in a week I feel like I have my life back. I'll let Dr Jason do the doctor talk. For those that don't understand doctor talk my daily pain has almost always been 9 or 10. Some days it feels higher. Within the first week I got that pain down to 5 for daily pain scale. That's huge! My anxiety is down. I'm not having the issue with my heart racing at random times. I'm sleeping better. Dr Jason is totally worth the drive. I'm excited and hopefully that I can feel like a normal person again and not a broken one that doctors couldn't figure out how to treat me or they would gaslight me. Highly recommend you book with Dr Jason and let him help you get out of pain. Let him help you get your life back. Thank you Dr Jason for seeing me and seeing all the problems and helping to treat them all.
